Launching the 2026 World Climbing European Youth Championship in Sukoró

After months of preparation and committed effort, we are very happy to welcome more than 400 athletes from 30+ countries today for the 2026 World Climbing European Youth Championship in Sukoró, at the main hall of the Kovács Katalin National Kayak-Canoe Academy.

Qualification from 13:00

Qualifications start at 13:00 with U17 competitors, and will continue tomorrow from 09:00 with U19, followed by U21 at 16:30. Semi-finals will take place on Saturday, and finals on Sunday.

The detailed daily schedule is available in the info sheet on the World Climbing website, as well as live results, which will be updated as the competition is progressing.

Live stream

All events will be live streamed on the World Climbing Europe YouTube channel, where the Championship has its own playlist. During qualifications, there will be no commentary, while semi-finals and finals will be commentated in English.

It is our great pleasure that Eurosport Hungary will also stream one of the events (U19 semi-finals) with Hungarian commentary.

If you would like to witness the challenges and triumphs in person, you can still register via this form. Spaces are free but limited, so registration for some of the days might close soon. Once you arrive, you will receive your wristband at the registration desk in order to access the competition area. Each day has a different wristband.
